ISRC Code
The ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) identifies a specific recording — every individual song has its own, even if it's a different version (radio edit, remix, live). It's what lets platforms and rights societies precisely track how many times exactly that recording was played.
UPC Code
The UPC (Universal Product Code) identifies the entire release — the album, EP, or single as a product, not each song separately. It's the same type of barcode used to identify physical products, adapted to digital music.
Do I need to get them myself?
No. At Draikotune, ISRC and UPC codes are generated automatically at no extra cost on all plans when you upload your release — you don't need to purchase or handle them yourself.
